Reuse Ninja Sphere Hardware

I also have a Ninja Sphere at home. I feel like the software is just way too unstable. Even to put Pimatic on it. When my WIFI goes down for only a second, the Ninja Sphere shuts down and does not reboot automatically. I have to plug the power out and in again.
These kind of things makes it pretty useless for any kind of software

I’d really like to make it useful again because it looks pretty awesome in my house. Unfortunately it just feels like too much work at the moment.

It’s the same with me. The Software is not very good. My idea was to put the rasberry in or under the sphere case and to use the led matrix. I opened it today but it doesn’t look like you get the cables of the matrix connected to the pi so easily.
But anyway. Is there a possibility to reuse the ZigBee smart socket with something (hue bridge for example)? I don’t get it connected properly. Another way would be to buy an extra zigbee antenna for the pi but I#m not sure if it’s possible to connect to the plug without any specs about it.
