Extend auto discovery time

Hi,
is it possible to extend the 20.000 ms device auto discovery time? As I already have lots of devices it takes really long for pimatic to find them all and it seems that it stops before everythin has been found. Especially the auto discovery of harmony-hub takes long to identrify all devices and actions. After that there is no time left to find new 433mhz devices.

Just one question more: A manual discovery (by using the debug log) to find new 433mhz devices by homeduino is not possible with v.0.9x anymore? I ask because this has not been working for me after switching from 0.8x to 0.9x. No big deal as I use auto discovery but now this seems to get to its limit

Discovery should run asynchronously so it should look for everything in paralell.

I think a better approach would be an auto-discovery button which is plugin specific maybe on the plugin config page.

As I created the Harmony plugin I know how much autodiscovery devices you get it can get really messy and currently you don’t have a chance to exclude it from the discovery.

yes that is ok and really I still love your harmony plugin. Maybe an easy solution would be to ramp up the discovery time from 20 secs to 2 min? I dont know if it works parallel for me it seems to stop right after 20secs and up to 20 secs there are still devices found. Then the discovery stops.

As for my additional question. I have been able to get debug discovery running by setting the grey “debug yes” standard entry to an ovveriden (ticked) “debug yes” entry and restart the raspi. Seemed as if the standard yes entry has not been written to config before.
