@Harry-van-der-Wolf, I don’t think so. i might take three other cables from my UTP cable to check. I don’t know how to check for interference. This UTP cable is the only one in the tube to that room, and the DS18B20 is the only sensor connected to that UTP Cable.

With interference I meant something like “the cable runs behind a micro-wave oven (magnetron)” or something like that.
And for the cable itself: Do you have a multi-meter allowing to measure impedance on the wires? It should be (close to) 0, otherwise your cable is not good. -
Will check this weekend with the multimeter.
The cable runs from one side of the room to the other, through the ground, Ends up in a kitchen closet. The sensor was taped to an iron pipe to measure the temp of that pipe. (to have my self-made pump-switch)
