HomeduinoRFSwitch device flapping

Hello,

i have an issue with an HomeduinoRFSwitch remote plug device.
To describe my setup:
In my living room i have a dreambox based SAT receiver (VU+ Solo). If i power on the device from standby to active, a script on the SAT receiver changes a VariablesDevice state.
This State change is the initial impulse to start everything else in my living room (turn on TV, Turn on LED behind sofa, LED Behind TV, turn on AV Receiver)

When
"$vusolostatus equals “Ein"
then
"switch on 💡 LED Leiste TV and switch on 💡 LED Leiste Sofa and press button yamaha_powertoggle and after 3 seconds press button lgtv_powertoggle”

But sometimes it happens that the “💡 LED Leiste TV” changes it state every second.

The only way to stop it is to edit the device and save it or restart pimatic.

It only happend to this device and also absolut random. I have other remote plugs from the same brand without any problems.

Any idea what could be the reason or how to go on with troubleshooting?

did you already flashed the latest homedino sketch to the nano?

I have the 433 transmitter directly connected to my Pi. Don’t use any Ardunio device for that.

I’m using the followings calls to change the state of the VariablesDevice within the Enigma (VU+) Receiver

First i thought it could be an issue with the script, but the VariablesDevice (which triggers the rule) is not changed during the flapping

Are you perhaps using pimatic-hap? If so you should update it to the latest version. From earlier versions some issues like this were known.

HAP is installed but not connected to any iPhone (tried it, but don’t have time to go deeper, so i cut the connection on my phone)

Found update for pimatic-hap: current version is 0.8.0, latest version is: 0.8.3

I will give it an update and check if the problem still exists (only happends 2-3 / month).

@Raducanu It doesn’t make a difference if there is no iPhone connected. there were a lot of changes regarding this problem since 0.8.0.
