New Plugin - WMI

Hi, i created a new plugin called pimatic-wmi to query windows host using windows management instrumentations (wmi).

You can find the plugin on github and npmjs.

The following device can be used:

WmiSensor

The WmiSensor displays the output of your specified command to the gui.

Property	Default	Type	Description
host	-	String	Hostname or IP address of the Windows Host
username	-	String	local or domain user with administrative privileges
password	-	String	Password for the user specified
command	-	String	Command which will be executed.
interval	60000	Number	The time interval in milliseconds at which the command is queried
attributes	-	Object	Attributes are automatical saved to config for later support for rules

If you already created a WmiSensor device and you change the command later, all attributes from this device need to be deleted, before the new attributes are shown.

Latest release is version 0.1.6.

This is an excellent plugin if you wish to access system management information from windows hosts on the network! Occasionally, we should collect some recipes for wmi queries and how to use them. Presumably, most users are not familiar with WMI.

Note for users running pimatic on Windows: If you wish to query the local host the username and password are left blank.

Thanks for his info. I didn’t tested the plugin on windows, but i will update the plugin info.

I also will create a link with usefull wmi queries and what they do.

Great!
Had the same idea for a plugin but do not have the js/coffescript skills to do that.
Found your repo on github and saw that someone is already into this.
Now I have to get another idea to force myself to learn js/cs ^^

Will test this next week if I have some spare time
