pimatic-max problems

Hello everybody,

i just have some problems with my max-thermostat. If I send a new temperature (e.g. 16.5°C) to the heating-thermostat via pimatic, it changes back to 21°C after few seconds. Since I have these problems a few weeks now, I just looked into the debug information.
In the debug information there is a varible “error” set to true coming from this max-thermostat. Is it possible to show such variables in the ui - so that i know why i cannot set the temperature for now?

actually that’s a debug information which is displayed in the debug messages. it’s not possible to display debug messages yet at the gui by plugin.
but for the time being you can use the logreader or a shellsensor that greps the pimatic-daemon.log for the pimatic-max error you are talking about.

i did something similar with a general error notification, check the below device. you can specify your error at the line “match” to get an update on the gui. maybe this helps a bit.

Hello,
i’ve had these problems when i have the auto-mode on.

When i’m im manual-mode everything is fine.

The behavior is that you can set the temperature. But when the cube is looking what his thermostats are doing.
He set’s the temperatur back to the scheduled temperature.

so just need to set mode to normal then it has to go.

–> you also need to schedule the temperatures over pimatic then…

thanks for the fast replies. In the meanwhile I got it work by removing it in the max-cube software and adding it again. That solved it for me.
@leader21 thanks for the idea with the log-reader, I will give it a try this week
