pimatic-dash-button problem

Good evening,

i have a problem with my new dash buttons from amazon.

first i have configured the new buttons with the amazon app on ios.
then i install the dash-button plugin, then added manually 2 dash buttons to the devices section.
now the dash buttons are in the devices section in pimatic, and i can click the “press” button.
it works.
but when i press the dash button, nothing happens.
i create a test rule to turn on a lamp, but it doesnt works.

it could be helpful if you would post your devices and the rules from your config file

Since this plugin uses node-pcap, did you install it?
sudo apt-get install libpcap-dev

Yes i did

MAC address must be written like

aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff

you’d better use the auto discovery feature.

To avoid this convention I have a filed a pull request which automatically normalizes the MAC address to lower case before the device is instantiated. This makes use of the prepareConfig method.

@mwittig PR was merged and version 0.2.0 of piratic-dash-button was just released
