How to (re)set a contactsensor.

I know that is is not posible to change the state a a contactsensor. I do not want to use dummysensor.
But what i want is to change what pimatic think is the state of a contactsensor.
I see on my system that contactsensor1 is open and for some reason pimatic thinks its stil close.
now i can go and close the door and reopen it hoping pimatic pick it up.
It would be easier if I could give a command, like:

http://192.168.xxx.xxx::8001/api/device/contact1/changeContactTo?contact=false.

Is there a way?

What kind of contactSensor do you have? I am just asking as the HomeduinoRFContactSensor provides the autoreset feature and other device types may provide a similar feature. Apart from this, it is not possible to change state the of a contact sensor via the REST API for good reasons unless you setup a DummyContactSensor which provides for the changeContactTo action. Another possibility may be to use a ShellSensor where you can write the state to some file which is picked up by the ShellSensor periodically,

I am using the klikaanklikuit amst-606 door/windows contact.

I wonder whey it is not possible to send a close of open command via homeduino. No matter that the contact sensor does not react as long an pimatic reacts
