Great to hear. Would be great if you share your experiences. 
About the updates: I got no google play developer console so no publishing for me on the google PlayStore atm. I planed to do the automatic updates by the app itself.

Altough there would be no problem to use the plugin from any different device there is currently no plan to develop an IOS app, because i have not the necessary hardware to do that.
I think you need to buy one of this glorious android devices. 
Well… maybe there is a IOS developer out there that is willing to develop an app.

There is still one problem open with the plugin, if the googleMapsAPI is heavily used it will block the access due to a missing API-Key.
I’m currently working at a solution to support using your own API-Key to extend the possible usage of the GoogleMapsAPI.
Edit: Should work now. See the readme.md of optional parameters of https://github.com/Oitzu/pimatic-location if you need to use the ApiKey.
@Oitzu it’s just impressive how you’ve made that plugin better each time and how fast. Thank you so much for the great addon. Can I request IPv6 support in the app? I tried to set it up but won’t work and I am indeed able to browse https://[xxxx:xxxxx:xxxxxx:xxxx]:444 (my pimatic IPv6 from the droid).

You got any specific error?
Do you used “[xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx]” as hostname to correctly seperate hostname and port?

When i click test and save on my S4 and S5 i get the message “couldn’t update location. Check your connection and device config.” Using https, self signed and custom port. Could that be a problem?
Shouldn’t be a problem. If i remember correctly sebastianvg uses a similar setup.
You could check your pimatic debug output if any request arrives.
I think there could be maybe some confusion in the documentation. Could you try the “name” of the configured device insteas of the “id”?
Dont use dns, just ip. Will try to get dns set up.

I need some feedback/suggestions from the users of pimatic-location.
At the moment i’m working at the issue Oitzu/pimatic-location#15
This issue is about getting specific rules for locations.
My first suggestion was something like:
If nexus5 is within 10 meter(s) of "<address or coords. here>"
What does the community suggests should look the rules like?
Keep in mind: We have different methods to determine distances (linear|route|eta).
Today I wanted to try out the tasker stuff and sent intents to the app. It crashed and now it doesn’t work at all. Crashing as soon as I start the app, even after a reboot. I did everything exactly like described… I’ll reinstall it tomorrow and stay away from the intents for now.

Which option did you tried to change with tasker? Sounds like it tried to set a value to an option that it didn’t liked.
It should be enough if you delete the application data.
I tried to change the interval. I want to keep a high interval while connected to wifi (for saving battery), and a low interval when not connected to wifi. Where can I find the appdata?
Which value do you tried to set? I’m interested, because this seems to be clearly some sort of bug.
Depending on your Android System. Normally: Settings->Application Manager->Pimatic Location->Delete Data.
it’s INTERVALLIMIT, INTERVAL works.
Okay. I’ve seen the possibly reason for this.
But it will take some time to fix this, because i will be on vaction for about a week.
I suggest to to configure the limit on a reasonable number and just manipulate the INTERVAL value in the meantime. The interval-limit does not have an big effect on battery drain.
To explain this:
The pimatic-location service is using the fused location provider provided by the google api. The setted interval and priority will give the google api an idea about how often the service needs location updates.
But if other apps or services receives location updates by the fused location provider, the provider will trigger the pimatic-location service, too. To fuse as much as possible (and therefore save energy) location updates of different apps and services together.
The interval limit, limits this functionality so you don’t send more location updates to the pimatic-api from your device as it can handle.
