China 868 MHz CC1101 with Pimatic

Hi friends,

first of all, thank you for your work on pimatic, i love it! I already use a cheap 433 MHz sender directly on GPIO with pimatic-gpio and pimatic-homeduino and it works perfectly. Now its time to use 868 MHz too for controlling and reading (for example) MAX! heating thermostats. I really hope its easy as it was with the 433 MHz module. I buyed this http://de.aliexpress.com/item/CC1101-wireless-module-Long-Distance-Transmission-Antenna-868MHZ/32484824049.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.76.Zr6Eb5 . How can i use it directly with the Pi’s GPIO Pins within Pimatic?

Isn’t it only for Busware Hardware? I have a single CC1101 module and get a Arduino Nano (If direct connect to GPIO on Rpi doesn’t work).

good question! guess then you need to build a cul with an arduino and your cc1101 first, yes…

Or maybe it workes with homegear installed and this config (https://doc.homegear.eu/data/homegear-homematicbidcos/configuration.html#config-ticc1101) and pimatic-homegear?! i’ll give it a try.
i’m definitly not the only one who do not want to use extra arduinos or the expensive busware cul within pimatic.
This would be awesome…
