I recently bought a new RF switch which can be integrated into the light switch inside the wall.
Brand: Smartwares SH5-RBS-04A (Link to official website)
Some years ago i bought this switch which basically looks the same (without the smartwares logo)
Brand: Elro Home Easy HE875
They really look the same and amazon lists the smartwares as successor of the Elro. I thought smartwares just bought the brand and uses the same hardware, but as i wanted to learn the switch to pimatic protocol “switch2” which i use for my elro rf-switch didn’t work.
So what can i do to find out the protocol (without a smartwares remote)?
Someone wrote in an amazon review, that he uses the smartwares switch in FHEM via

But which protocol is that for homeduino?
Does someone control smartwares hardware with pimatic? Which protocol do you use?
What can I do to investigate further, without trying every protocol?
