Z-wave Plugin

Hi,

is anybody working on a plugin to connect to a z-wave network? Probably using z-way.

yesterday a new version of z-way was released and after the update pimatic z-wave plugin doesnt work anymore

error [pimatic-z-way]: dim level update failed with 404 - {"data":null,"code":404,"message":"404 Not Found","error":"Device ZWayVDev_zway_10-0-38 doesn't exist"}

who is also using the z-way plugin and can help

Hi, test this:
stop pimatic

change in line 9 in /home/pi/pimatic-app/node_modules/pimatic-z-way/z-way.coffee

rp = require 'request-promise'

to

rp = env.require 'request-promise'

restart pimatic.

Do you get your devices by executing this:

This seems to be a problem with a changed API of Z-Way. Currently, I have still the old version installed. I will check that, someday next week.

the reason is the mandatory authentication:

just added room priviliges to the “local user” and problem is fixed

I just installed the current version to my own local system. @dk00000 thanks for figuring out the solution. I updated the README accordingly (https://github.com/MMore/pimatic-z-way#authentication).

Does anybody know if you connect Toon (Dutch Eneco Thermostat) to this plugin. Toon uses Z-wave but i was wondering if this device can be found. The thing i actually want to do is read out my energy and gas meter and control my central heating (OpenTherm). Currently my Toon is doing this, but I would like to integrate the same functionality in my Pimatic environment.

As far as I know there are no pending issues other than feature requests, where feature requests are basically about supporting more devices. Please check https://github.com/MMore/pimatic-z-way/issues if you have specific requests.

Most of those feature requests belong to new devices that needs to be implemented. But without those devices I cannot really implement or test. So I need help from someone who has those devices.
Unfortunately I have less time currently in general. But I am happy to help with pull requests for new devices etc

@MMore What kind of Information do. Need do implement them? Do. You have any Short introduction how to implement them?
