Feature voting

With this forum we can finally do what I ever wanted:

Have a voting list for new features. I want to know what you would want to see next in pimatic. So please create feature requests here and upvote that one you like! If there is already a github issue for the feature, please link it in the forum topic for your request.

@sweetpi is it possible technically to limit the number of vote per user? I am so happy with pimatic that i would like to see all extra features into it but then all features will have the same number of votes at the end.
Give 2 or 3 points of vote per user and then you will get a much more useful list of what users really would like to get…

on the part of the “usual” administration tools there’s no possibility. the voting system is an overall feature and not only to vote for the features. you can vote for any thread (like at other BBS too). guess if you change that you’ll have to change the core of nodeBB.

we’ve already switched off downvoting (eg. you vote +1 and i vote -1 then the threat would have 0 likes) … you don’t have to worry about it. have a look at the votes, there is no one that votes for every thread or randomly. in my opinion there could be more users that vote, but the forum is now 7 days old. i think for this uptime it’s very lively.
