Since this forum is new to the most of us, I guess we need some information how to use some of the mostly used text features.
I am familiar with phpBB or vbulletin and their bb-codes. but here it’s a little different.
you are all welcome to share your experiences here!

first introduce with ! then a square bracket with the alt text or just leave it blank, then the round bracket with the url to the image.

use the backticks at the beginning and the end

Howto insert code:
code can be inserted with three backticks ``` above and below the code or just simply copy and paste it completely without any “introducing characters”. it should be identified as code then.

you can also get help when you’re clicking on the ? above.

you can now use spoilers when typing in >! in front of your text that you want to hide.
sweetpi has already done some improvement to make it usable.
its not perfect but it “is”. let’s see if there will be some development of this implementation in future

How can i subscribe for pushover notifications? I want to receive a notification if i get a “Benachrichtigung” in the forum?

I know this thread is like super old but I wonder if there’s any update on how to receive an email whenever I get a notification in the forum?

no problem! we decided to not close any threats, doesn’t matter how old they are.
some things are still up to date.

well to answer your question - you need to go to your profile settings.

1. click on your avatar on the upper right corner
   

2. click on settings
   

3. scroll down to email and follow options and mark the checkboxes you want to
   

4. finally scroll down and click the save changes button

that’s it
