FA21RF Smoke detector - issue

I have a smoke detector Flamingo FA21RF attempts according to these instructions it received but not out. It would be nice if the times one could look at, sit for hours.

But I’ve tried that what was not successful …

Can I do this with a multiprotocol switch?

@top44 I think you are using the wrong device type. You should use the HomeduinoRFContactSensor. May be you also need to add an “autoreset” property to reset the contact to “open”, once the smore sensor has fired its alert messages?! My Rules for Test (it works):

if contact of smokedetector = fire then push title:"fire" message:"fire"

Now I have auto reset a problem does not go. What can I do?

@top44 Strange. I think it should work. Note, however, the “resetTime” is given in milliseconds. Try with value “10000”.

However, I think you should get the Sensor setup working first.

Unfortunately it does not work with the resetting!

Could it be because I have alarm1 and alarm2, but use only alarm2?

How do I build it?

Following a chat conversation @top44 came up with a succesful setup:

Apart from the “resetTime” value, the difference to the setup in port #3 is the semantics behind the “opened” and “closed” state. See the assignments made for “xOpenedLabel” and “xClosedLabel”. This make sense as “closed” is the initial or normal state of the contact sensor if you think of this as a window sensor, for example. I think this should be better documented as part of the examples.
