Hi,
i have now a raspbee work in Pimatic. My old pi B+ is now a ZIGBEE-gateway. I have a Philips Color Iris (Black and noFriends of HUE) and a low cost innr-bulb in my living room for light. Over the HUE ZLL plugin can i switch, dim and on the Philips set the color. In the git-hub forum of raspbee write the user from IKEA Tradfri in work.
Great`s from Dresden.

@Jens I have a question off topic. I recognized that you have a switch at your samsung device to start prime. Is that right? How did you managed it?
-
That is a HDMI-port of the TV with connectet a Amazon box.

@Jens thank you. Wasn’t what I expected but thanks for sharing. I’m also using the python script to control my TV.
Back to topic: Can you recommend this setup? Do you think it is possible to run pimatic and raspbee on only one pi?
I have ordered a Phillips Hue ceiling lamp and I’m not sure which system is best to go for as gateway- Ikea gateway (cheap)
- Phillips Hue gateway (consistent but more expensive)
- Raspbee (cheap and more possibilities)

Hi,
my Pi 3 with Pimatic is in the ground floor by the housetechnology (water, heating, gas…) and make 433Mhz and 1-wire temp control. The raspbee is in test of an old Pi B+ in the living room in the first floor. The Pi 3`s 1-wire temp-sensors going over the gpios and raspbee need this gpios, for testing and paring from zigbbe in need a mobile constuction. My Pi 3 is stable an work and work and work.
My way to raspbee:
plus
- good price 35€
- Philips, Osram…Ikea products with one gateway
- no cloud
- after my installation and hue-zll you can fullcontroll in pimatic
Lights/Groups/Schedules/Szenes(are in
Schedules) from deCONZ
minus
- no updates (ota) for Philips, Osram…( Ikea have the biggest potential in new firmware) over raspbee
- hardcore installation for windows user (handbook with many errors, whezzy or jessie, Pi 3 or B+ …)
Have a nice day.

PS.
Look in the ikea plugin (Tradi… or so), it is a nice plugin and a involved leader and write yout question over Philips control in tradif…!Pimatic, my hobby.

Thank you for the detailed response. I will have a look at tradfri also but currently I’m tending to RaspBee.
-
PS.
I buy an IKEA Tradfri Dimmer (hot and nice) with bulk and a remotecontrol. My wife need hardware to control the light. With raspbee can you make the firmwareupdate over OTA with the files from this site:

Hi @Jens,
I just bought a raspbee modul and also managed to install the deCONZ software. That was very easy, but configuring this software is really hard with a whole lot of problems. But after spending much time on it to get it running, it is right now working fine and stable. I very happy with this. Now, I have some questions perhaps you can help me with.
I want to control the raspbee by the plugin hue zll like you do. My raspbee module is reacting to http requests like the following one successfully, where xxxxxxxxxx = myAPIkey.curl -X PUT -H "Content-Type: application/json" http://192.168.2.100:8080/api/xxxxxxxxxx/lights/1/state -d '{"on":true}'
But within the plugin hue zll I can’t connect to the raspbee even tough I already tried some different things.
- set the apikey manually
- auto detection mode of pimatic (with and without manually defined apikey and ip)
=>pimatic-hue-zll: Hue API username registration failed; Request failed with status code 401
- switch on different detecting modes of the raspbee (unlock gateway, open network, scan for devices)
This is my configuration. Do you @Jens or somebody else have an idea what I’m doing wrong?
{ "host": "192.168.2.100", "port": 8080, "plugin": "hue-zll", "active": true, "debug": true, "username": "xxxxxxxxxx", "timeout": 5000, "retries": 3, "polling": 5000, "hueApiConcurrency": 1 }
Thank you.

Just bought one.
German users with Amazon Prime can currently get the device for € 34,95 which is cheaper than buying at Dresdnen Elektronik directly (€ 42,09 incl. tax and shipping) or other shops like Reichelt (€ 40,55 incl. shipping). If fancied you can use my affiliate link: https://amzn.to/2pBubRH

Hi,
i connect from my pimatic pi with hue- plugin to the raspbee pi. In the pimatic pi config have i this device.
{ "plugin": "hue-zll", "active": true, "username": "0147677A82", "host": "192.168.2.9", "port": 80 },
The username ist the apikey. With
http://raspbee-ip/apikey/
have you a list with names and your devices.

@Jens I just tried it again but I think the problem is that both systems (pimatic and raspbee) are running on one raspberry pi. Perhaps the problem is just the port. But i don’t know…
The auto detect looks like this with no configuration of hue-zll and also with manual configuration of username, host and port.
I also have realised that the original hue app isnt able to connect to the gateway if Im running it at port 8080. Running it at port 80 is working fine. So by now i think the problem is the port.

Hi,
i config my pimatic-hue-zll-plugin manual and restart pimatic(the apikey can you greate in the rest api with a command). The automatic config no works! Then find the device-search my deCONZ bulbs and scenes.
Or test the new raspbee-plugin, or change the ports of deCONZ-rest-api and pimatic.I,m this week out of home. On the weekend can i test the hue-plugin on the raspbee pi (the raspbee pi2 run with deCONZ port 80 and pimatic on port 8080 for IRC remoute a Samsung2012TV power on and a Yamaha Receiver and mqtt). My Pimatic pi3 is the userinterfaces with hue-zll.

Hi, @Fabian,
test the new raspbee plugin in v0.0.3. On my system rock the pluginPimatic, my hobby.

@Jens thank you. The plugin (hue-zll) is running perfectly now. I really don’t know what was the reason that the plugin hasn’t worked before. But after some restarts everything is working fine now. I’m really happy!
Thank you for the hints, maybe one of them has solved the problem.
At last, also the raspbee plugin is working fine ( @kosta thank you). By now I’m not sure which way to go but I’m doing some long term test with both plugins (hue-zll and raspbee).
