433MHz Light Switch?

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone tried to use RF Light Switchtes (not the RF outlets) in combination with pimatic? There are a few commercial ones which are capable with your existing Electrical Installation but none of them seems to be supported. I have also seen a few selfmade ones with an Arduino Nano and a solid state relais.

So if somehone has those kinda switches actually in use I would appreciate a small feedback on what hardware etc. used.

I’m using this one:

It doesn’t send back the current state of the switch and the receiver isn’t that good, but it works fine.

I use the kaku wallswitch.

So if wallswitch is turned on then turn couch on, turn closet on etc.

I’d like to turn on my couch too but cannot find the power cord

I’m using Intertechno switches, similar as KaKu. You can also go for Elro HomeEasy.
What you need is the light switch as sender and the rf receiver that switches the light.
there are also the ITL230 devices eg. from Intertechno that enhance your existing light switches so you can turn on your light manually with the switch as usual or use pimatic or another rf switch to turn on the light. I use the kaku build in dimmer.
Setting it up:

• Configure the dimmer with a kaku remote.

• Add a kaku switch to pimatic.

• Sync the pimatic kaku switch with the dimmer.

• Change the pimatic kaku switch to kaku dimmer.

Works like a charm
