Yes, cache is clear. I remember, that it has already been ok in a older version. But dont know since when. I never changed the locale, it has been de since first time setup my conf.
gosh!! you are right… haven’t seen the trees beforw the wood… the switch states at my dashboard are also in english on/off instead of an/aus although i have set the locales to de …
did not notice that till now!
will have a quick look at the locales.de
edit : seems the locales.de has the appropriate entries for that. i am creating an issue on git now.

Ah okay. Thx
I’m not sure, but were messages like done etc. not also translated?
@Barny see https://github.com/pimatic/pimatic/issues/787
you can add xOnLabel xOffLabel to your config…
{
"id": "licht",
"name": "Licht",
"class": "HomeduinoRFSwitch",
"protocols": [
{
"name": "switch2",
"options": {
"houseCode": 4,
"unitCode": 6
}
}
],
"xOnLabel": "An",
"xOffLabel": "Aus"
}
@magic-tune thx for this. I already use this, but dont want to change all switches.

I am not sure whether or not the switch label isnt’t translated via local by design. I’ll ask sweetpi, occasionally.

I’ve installed the Version 0.9 and i’m very happy with it!
But i couldn’t find the “locale” option to set it to DE. Can someone help me? I’m very new with programming and raspberry

@Dodo88 you need to edit your config.json file like the following:
{
"settings": {
"locale": "de",
"httpServer": {
"enabled": true,
"port": 80
},
But make sure the local property is directly in the settings object.

Here’s the passage:
GNU nano 2.2.6 Datei: config.json {
“settings”: {
“locale”: “de”,
“httpServer”: {
“enabled”: true,
“port”: 80 }, “database”: {
“deviceAttributeLogging”:
when you change something at the config.json from the bash (e.g. nano, vc …) you need to stop pimatic first. otherwise your changings will be overwritten.
you can change the config online with the config menu. then you need to restart pimatic!
after all you may have to clear the cache from your browser.
