    Hey,

    i’m planning to water my bonsais via (ideally) 5v water-pump, controlled by a raspberry pi / gpio (via pimatic), when i’m not at home for a few days.

    Anyone using those small aliexpress water pumps? Any recommendations?

    There’s no need for a high water flow, a really quiet flow or sth. else…

    Greetings,
    Chris

    Hey!

    Another idea came to my mind.
    Creating pages in pimatic is nice to sort things in groups. But static pages don’t always show you what you need just in this moment.
    My idea is the possibility to create “dynamic” pages.
    Let me explain:
    Create a new page, call it “Now” (or whatever) and mark it with “Dynamic”.
    Now you’ll need to create some kind of “rules” for the page.
    Examples:
    “if dwd-weather-warning is set, then show it on “Now””
    “if presence of XYZ changed in the last 5 min, then show it on “Now””
    “if light-xyz is set to on, then show it on “Now”” (Just to not forget switching off :D)
    “if google-calendar has events for today, then show it on “Now””
    “if window-sensor-xyz is open, then show it on “Now””
    … blabla ;-)

    Another thing, which would help structuring those pages would be “priorities”. For example: It’s more important for me to know that a hurricane is coming, then that the light’s still on. Assigning priority 1 to a rule / item should display it on top (latest change first), priority 2 below, priority 3 …

    Probably this is a reeeeeeally big thing to implement, but i just had the idea and really liked it. It’s like pushing pimatic to a new level :smile:

    The same for me - i messaged via pn. I think it’s just a matter of free time - keep in mind, that this project is done by “normal” people maintaining it in their leisure time.

    Hey, i’m using a Variable Device to get the current date:

    {
      "variables": [
        {
          "name": "Heute",
          "expression": "\"{date(\"DD.MM.YYYY\")} \"",
          "type": "string"
        }
      ],
      "xAttributeOptions": [],
      "id": "datum",
      "name": "Datum",
      "class": "VariablesDevice"
    }

    What are the possible options for formatting date? I’d like to get the name of the day (Mon / Montag / Monday, would be ok…). I tried “E” and “EE”, but that didn’t work…
    Any solution for this?

    Thanks a lot :)

    Uh, i forgot about the existing warning addon. Nevertheless, the forecasts would be nice! But no need to hurry :-)
    Thanks a lot

    Thanks for your effort, really nice addon. Is there a chance you’ll add forecasts / weather warnings anytime? (http://www.dwd.de/DE/wetter/vorhersage_aktuell/nordrhein_westfalen/vhs_nrw_node.html)

    Hey Guys,

    i just had another idea. I’m using telegram to get current temperature state of my thermostat, switching lights, etc, while away from home (ds-lite, and i don’t wanna pay for a ipv4->ipv6 converter and have my traffic routed by another server). It would be nice to implement the possibility to “export” the last 24h graph for a device by a rule!
    For better understanding example:

    When telegram received “temperatur” then CREATEGRAPHIMAGE of sensorxyz and send image telegram to Chris CREATEDIMAGE

    This could be used with many other addons as well (pimatic pushbullet, email, …)
