Most of the time when you try to improve the HW of your homeduino (for example a new receiver, an antenna + or - few millimeters) you rely on impressions for your results.
On the other hand we have some weather station for example that emits every XX seconds.
So could be good to have in pimatic a plugin in which you indicate how many messages you should get in an ideal world for a device in 1 day and how many you really got.
We could then display sensitivity of our receivers and improve them based on fact and not impressions…

Maybe we can implement that with existing plugin, create a “LogWatcher” device that will take read the pimatic.log and look for a given RF message. What i don’t know is from that how to increment a variable…
