[workaround]Show changelog when an update is available

Hi,

it would be nice to see the changelog when there’s a new update available for pimatic or any of its plugins. I figure this could be done via github by showing the commits between the last and the most recent version of pimatic or the plugin.

Currently you can check on github and check the commits

That’s what I do regularly, but the hassle of opening up a browser, navigating to github, … etc. seems so … unnecessary.

how about @sweetpi make this a predicate?

IF pimatic update available
THEN blablabla

I personally would use this to pushbullet a notification, can’t come up with anything else.

I think it should be based on the commit messages…otherwise it’s just a lot more maintenance for the developers…

sounds good. imho it would be also good to see when an update is available, like some popup or maybe in the upper corner of the gui like a little icon?
