Hello
I’m sure it’s no new question, but I’m sorry, I didn_'t find something realy propper.
I want to connect a button to GPIO and show it in Pimatic.
I know the circuit, - no Problem. (can I upload pictures in this forum?)
like from mahjongg
http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=79919&p=566160 or many others.
I found a featurerequest for binary data in graphs. http://forum.pimatic.org/topic/18/logging-and-graphing-the-state-of-devices
I’m not sure if only the graph wont work, or if the data is also not stored.
I found something for binary devices on GPIO https://www.npmjs.com/package/pimatic-gpio
In this case I’m not sure what the difference of the lines
"class": “GpioPresence”,
“class”: “GpioContact”,
“class”: “GpioSwitch”,
means and what the right config for my purpose is.
on http://www.pimatic.org/docs/pimatic-gpio/gpio/ it seems
that "class GpioPresence extends env.devices.PresenceSensor" is not right
"class GpioSwitch extends env.devices.PowerSwitch" is for which powerswitch ?
no word of “class”: "GpioContact"
but it seems to be added on Okt.2014
https://github.com/pimatic/pimatic-gpio
I will give “GpioContact” a try.
Will this ‘sensor’ be stored in DB for later history review?
Thank you,
Andi
