[request] Protocol/debug for Livolo wall switches

Hi there,

I recently bought a wall switch produced by Livolo and a corresponding remote.

I was hoping to control it with pimatic, but when pressing buttons on the remote nothing appears in my homeduino log file.
According to the specifications this protocol uses the 433.92Mhz frequency. Is seems to be possible to control these switches with Domoticz and an external sender/receiver, but i would like to control them through an gpio connected 433mhz sender/receiver set.

Is anyone using pimatic to control these switches or does anyone have an idea how to receive the raw data of the remote?

You have the Debugmodus on by Pimatic? Message -> and in the left Corner Debug.
Normally when the Reciever works, you become always an Output du Pimatic.

What receiver do you use? maybe move your switch closer to it and try again.

I do have the rxb6 receiver, connected to an arduino nano. Works like a charm and I’m using it for multiple devices, which all are visible in the debug logging. Except this one. Tried moving it closer, but still nothing…

Maybe it is some kind of weird encrypted protocol?

@lxz According to the information given on the Arduino forum I think it should also work with homeduino. For further investigation it might be helpful to look at http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=153525.0

Guess if there are no debug data within pimatic itself it’s of no use to sniff raw Code via RFcontrol?

@mwittig I will take a closer look at that forum link on arduino.cc. Maybe I can flash and setup another arduino nano + rf3400 module for testing.

@leader21 will try that as well, but when you see nothing at all in pimatic debug mode it will be hard to write a protocol I guess.

is there now a way to use the livolo switch with pymatic?
I found this python script:

I gave up trying because I use Homeduino, which filters out the Livolo-data for some reason.

The python script you mentioned looks promising though. Please let me know when you get it to work

with the rflink gateway it is possible to control the livolo switch, but you can not check the state of the switch and when you switch one of the livolo switch off, then all of the switches will switch off
