I was wondering whether someone could give me a hint where to start with the development of an RF protocol implementation since I want to build some other cool and simple sensors for the Pimatic community, like a soil moisture sensor that can send you a push notification that it is time to water your plants or use some actuator. Another thing would be a doorbell integration, so I never miss the post guy again. (And also I want to get an RF LED device running and integrated, because I don’t want a WiFi controller).
I do know how to create the signals, so from a developing standpoint the creation of the circuits and the code aren’t an issue (see the DIY weather1 station). However I would like to hear, how you guys decode a RF signal on 433MHz in the first place, what to pay attention to and maybe some other hints.
Any help is appreciated!
