is it possible to change state attribute of ShellSwitch without executing the “onCommand” & “offCommand”?
My goal is to have a ShellSwitch, which shows the state of my TV (off: state=false, on: state=true), and which is able to switch on/off my TV via IR.
Through a ping device I’m able to get the real state of the TV (my TV has an ethernet port). With a simple rule I want to change the ShellSwitch state attribute, if I turn my TV with my ir remote off/on.
The problem is, my ir remote has only one button for turning my tv on/off. So if I turn my TV off with my remote and the state changes to false (made by rule described above), my TV is going to start again because of the ‘offCommand’ and the other way around (because “onCommand” = “offCommand”).
