limit to amount of protocols in homeduino? Share protocol over multiple devices?

I am trying to configure homeduino to detect 3 different protocols of kika devices.
It however fails to detect the third definition. The third one however is another button on the same remote as the first one. Moreover it is a definition shared by a number of switches which serves the purpose of grouping many switches to be turned off by pressing a single button. I would like pimatic to detect that button press and register the switch off of those lights at the same time. That however does not work.

I get the feeling the number of protocol definitions may be limited to 2, but it could also be the problem that pimatic is incapable of switching on/off multiple switches with a single protocol

Anyone know of a workaround?

I don’t think there is a limitation in the number of protocols homeduino can handle. I am using four protocols at the moment. May be you can share with us your device config and debug log messages from pimatic-homeduino showing the RF sequences of the device not detected. This way, the homeduino experts can analyze the problem and find a solution for you.

Here are 2 switches. Each has 3 definitions but the third one is the same for both. I also tried the third one to be

[pimatic-homeduino] debug: switch4: { unit: 27, id: 18, state: true } . It is a different button on the same remote as the second definition. I thought it might help to choose different protocol.
