Is it possible the signal from an external transmitter as variable in rules to be use? In case if you have a receiver on pimatic.
So my thought: If the recipient of Homeduino / Aduino Nano receives the signal of the original sender, it would be something like a “feedback” from the receiver. And Pimatic could change correspond to the state of the device.

orignal remote control integrated into Pimatic
Maybe I did not express myself clean enough.
I’d like to steer with the original remote control pimatic. The recipient of pimatic it should be possible a switch with the original remote control to evaluate.
If one could interpret this signal, then you could put on the correct switching status pimatic the corresponding switch."Really, I'm not out to destroy Microsoft. That will just be a completely unintentional side effect." 09-28-2003, LINUS TORVALDS (http://www.nytimes.com)

I’d like to steer with the original remote control pimatic.hope i got it correctly - you want to use a remote (or wall switch) to switch some device that is connectec to an outlet or another device, but not directly over the remote but with pimatic as “operator” between both?
you could do so when having different unit/id codes for both devices (remote , switch). create 2 devices at the config. one for the remote and one for the switch / outlet.
then set up a rule like"IF $remote.state = true THEN switch on outlet after 3 seconds"
you’ll have to give some latency, therefore try with 2 or 3 seconds since listening and receiving cannot be executed simultaneously.pimatic v0.9 has been released!

@leader21 I think, you understand me. a little bit .
it was nice to switch with Pimatic and with orignal remote. Sometimes it was easyer to take the handdevice as open a smartphone or similar. But also it was nice if pimatic one gets Info over that.
But how can i insert my remote in pimatic? I think, i must have a new device, a remotedevice. Must i have a new plugin for remotes?"Really, I'm not out to destroy Microsoft. That will just be a completely unintentional side effect." 09-28-2003, LINUS TORVALDS (http://www.nytimes.com)

Why not create a switch device for the remote? You don’t need to insert it to the gui. You just need the variable for the switching state.

@leader21 Thanks, i have found it. I think it’s a nice option.
Example: Turn on with hand remote and pimatic shut off after some minutes.
I use the “Multi protocol switch example” with my switch-protocol and it works nice. But my reciever could be works better.I will buy the 3400 RF reciever from your recommendation. Now i use the XY-MK-5V , i had bought it before your post.

@Thrusty
nice to hear sure you are totally right - the multiprotocol switch fits perfect! haven’t thought about it (actually even in many other ways there’s more than one way to skin a cat).
yes, go for the 3400RF. eversince there has been trouble with receivers I recommended to buy this.
will mark this issue as solved.pimatic v0.9 has been released!
