Second protocol for "Doorbell Select Plus

I have a question about the doorbell “Select Plus”, bought by the Action.
At this moment the protocol is “pir4” and type “pir”.
This protocol works in pimatic.

My question: Is it possible to make a second protocol for this doorbell
( = protocol: doorbellx, type: switch).
I want it to ring by pimatic. Same as the ADEO (protocol: doorbell1, type: switch)

Maybe it would be the best to add send capabilities to pir4 (https://github.com/pimatic/rfcontroljs/blob/master/src/protocols/pir4.coffee) so you could send with a HomeduinoRFButtonsDevice device.

See https://github.com/pimatic/rfcontroljs/blob/master/src/protocols/switch1.coffee#L44-L50 for an example implementation.

I did some testing.

I copied protocol “pir4.js” to a new protocol “testbell.js” in directory "rfcontroljs/lib/protocols"
and add some changes in the file “testbell.js”. At this moment the ‘return-value’ is hardcoded.

The used ‘pulseLengths’ in the file testbell.js are the same as in the file 'pir4.js’
I think that the problem is the ‘pulseLengths’, but I’m not sure.

Can someone give me the clue/solution?
I want to use the doorbell as an ‘alarm-system’.
Rule: “if door is open for xx minutes then should the bell rings”
