Ikea Tradfri + Switch

What I want: Ikea tradfri Lightbulbs
What the wife wants: “A normal functioning switch at the wall”

As we all know, it goes “happy wife, happy life” here is the deal between us.
I got my Tradfri bulbs, she got her switch, behind that switch is a Intertechno ITDM-250 433mhz dim to make the lights beeing connected to pimatic.
So far so good, but a compromise is described as “both are unhappy” which is the case right now as the lightbulbs start to whir and buzz when powered on.

Any of you got a similar setup at home and a solution to this problem?

PS: The switches ikea has to offer are a nono for us as we both consider them beeing quite ugly.

Did you connect the tradfri LightBulbs directly to the ITDM-250 433mhz switch/dimmer?
If so, that’s the problem. You can’t dim a led light with an a normal dimmer!
Tradfri Lights are controlled via Zigbee. You power the light with 220V and use a controller to switch it on/off and dim.

What about moving to Shelly? I have tradfri here as well, but since a while I am buying only shelly. Benefit, you can use normal LED bulbs which are cheaper…
