I’m trying to setup https for my pimatic instance.
I tried the variant described here: https://pimatic.org/guide/getting-started/remote-ssl/
I created a certificate and imported the root certificate to browser but the browser still doesn’t trust it.
Then I tried some variant with letsencyrpt but it also doesn’t work. Perhaps the tutorial is to old. https://forum.pimatic.org/topic/1037/pimatic-with-trusted-ssl-certificate-from-letsencrypt
Can anypne explain me how to get a valid trusted certificate and make it working?

Hey, do you know NGINX Proxy Manager. It is working very well an is able to create a secured communication to your pimatic instance. According to your nicname I assume you are german. Am I right?
-
No I don’t know it. Do you have some good how to guide?
Yes I’m german. -
Check this youtube video. I used it to configure it. If you already have a domain, then it takes as long as the video is to set all the necessary stuff up.
-
Thank you. But a DNS is always necessary?
-
Hi, sorry for the late response. Yes you need at least a DynDNS. I start with ddnss.de in the past. After a while I moved to Strato. Both works fine.
-
Thank you. I managed to make SSL working correctly wit nginx.
Is there anything else I should observe to make the raspberry secure?

Keep it up to date and make secured password.
