Does anybody has expiriences with the adapter RFXtrx433XL? I want to conrol my Somfy blindings and shutters with Pimatic by using the rfxcom-plugin and i want to be sure that it will works before i buy these adapter. Is it difficult to integrate in Pimatic? I would be very glad about some feedback from you. Best regards.

Hi, i used this adapter a some years ago to control KaKu devices, but i changed to wifi(mqtt) and zigbee for all my devices.
I don’t think the current pimatic-rfxcom plugin will support Somfy. The underlaying library seems to support Somfy, but the plugin is not updated for a long time (>2 years).
Did you ask the maintainer of the plugin?UPDATE: i checked the system i used and it was the rf-link addon with a arduino mega and NOT the RFXtrx433XL. This adapter uses a different plugin pimatic-rf-link and is also not updated for a long time.
The RFCcomXL with the pimatic-rfxcom seems the best way forward, if the maintainer @Tim is available to update the plugin with the Somfy capability -
