New pimatic installation

Hallo,
I tried to set up pimatic again with PI 2 Model B and
raspbian buster lite with node v4.9.1.

I worked through the instructions Node.js Installation, pimatic Installation and Running from the help pages on the web.

When calling “sudo node_modules / pimatic / pimatic.js” comes:

[pimatic] Starting pimatic version 0.9.54
[pimatic] Node.js version 4.9.1
[pimatic] OpenSSL version 1.0.2o

Knex: run
$ npm install sqlite3 --save
Error: Cannot Find module "/ home … sqlite3 …

Are the instructions incorrect? There is no reference to the Sqlite3 database.

Its better install with raspbian-buster or raspian-buster-full ?

Generally, Raspbian Buster Lite is sufficient if you want to use a headless setup for your Raspberry Pi (no graphical linux desktop, terminal access typically via SSH). The Lite versions already contains almost everything you need to install pimatic.

Thank you for your help. With the link above, the v10.16.3 and raspbian-buster-lite, the installation went through. Thank you very much.

In the next step I installed the required plugins and then copied my existing> config.json <file to the new installation. Everything was taken over: Pages, Automation and Settings.

But all switches and dimmers don’t work. There is a time-out error.

Even if I set up a new device, everything is initially taken over, but there is a time-out error when switching.

Even if I set up the empty original file> config.json <with a new device, the time-out error occurs.

What can be the cause? Nothing has been changed on my hardware.

I use the> homeduino plugin <, in the settings I activate> gpio <in Driver.
The transmission and reception antennas with other components are connected to the gpio.

Only then do I get the option to select the device> HomeduinoRFSwitch <.
Here I can enter the protocol, houseCode and uniCode.

Does it work for a while after you restart the pimatic service sudo service pimatic restart?

After every change I restart the system completely.

Ok, I give > sudo service pimatic restart <, I get one

Failed to restart pimatic.service: Unit pimatic.service not found. <

P.S. I have not set up autostart (yet). Start Pimatic manually with> sudo pimatic.js start <

No problem. I want only see if it works for a while after pimatic was started.

Summary:

1. Installation is fine.

2. I use the original empty config.json from the new installation

3. I set up the Sunrise plugin with latitude and longitude and create a device … and it is correctly displayed.

4. I configure the “homeduino plugin” to use the gpio. I set the driver from “serialport” to “gpio” in the settings.

I set up a device (switch) with houseCode and unitCode and create a new entry in Favorites … and it is correctly displayed.
… but it doesn’t work. When switching, there is a> time-out <

Where is the problem ? Is it the hardware interface, ie the “homeduino plugin” in combination with the gpio interface?

Does anyone have an idea where to start?

Is there a significant difference between “homeduino-Plugin v0.9.11” (a working configuration) and the current version 0.9.18?

Maybe it is necessary to change the wiring? Maybe use other gpio pins?

then I installed the> plugin homeduino <.

Then I switched the> plugin homeduino <to driver> gpio <
and pimatic started with> sudo node_modules / pimatic / pimatic.js <.
