I’m using Pimatic now since roughly a year.
I got the tip from a working colleague and I never thought about jumping to an other solution since I did my first steps.
I started with some 433Mhz Intertechno devices and was also able to implemented some stone age shutter devices. Afterwards I added a ConBee II stick to implement XIAOMI, OSRAM and IKEA.devices And I really like the possibility to choose amongst such a large number of actors and sensors.
The possibilities how to implement rules is also great and that nearly endless list of further plugins!!!

And not to forget the most important thing for me, as a non-developer but technical- and IT-affin person, is the super support which I ever got in this forum!!!

I am also less active in forum but still actively running and also developing pimatic and especially my plugins. But currently my plugins have reached more or less feature-completeness for me, so the changes are getting less.
BUT, as someone in the forum was writing, he would like to have the possibility to stick to a specific plugin version, I just implemented it in https://github.com/pimatic/pimatic/issues/1139 😀. With this change you are able to keep a working version without having to update.
So you can see, there is still active development on the pimatic core.

I’ve been using pimatic for many years now. It just works. I was also thinking about moving to HA, but I’m also very lazy. And as I said, pimatic just works.

I have been using Pimatic for two years now. I really like how easy it is to create rules. The interface for this is nice, not like others where you can only edit in a config file. It runs my borehole and irrigation system nicely. As well as monitoring room temp and solar geyser temps. It is also used as alarm and for staff to gain entry on specific days etc. run certain lights with sunrise and Tasmota. On my pool pump schedule electric gate and garage door. Electric security doors etc. I think it’s great.

im also still here I tried IObroker and so stuff but everything other sucks from WebGUI and Rules Please do not let it die

I finally migrated everything to Home Assistant because the device integration and the UI is much better.

But: Rule creation in HA is pain in the ass.

I also did this step because all of my Pis are obsolete now and run as Docker containers on a mini pc that performes 1000 times faster and is more efficient than all Pis in sum.

my time is limited, but I like to tinker. With Pimatic I started with a set of Intertechno sockets and a Sweetpi manual. Quick success with an acceptable amount of time. Web operation in the home network, rules edited quickly…what more could you want? Okay, I do Alexa binding with a Mini- ioBroker on a BananaPi. Now the house is running with sonoff,tasmota,shelly,zigbee and old loads in 433Mhz!

My next plan is to migrate to raspberry4 and it would be very interested for me to know if there is anybody else also using a raspi4.
I know, never touch or change a running system, but i will try.
