No devices found by Alexa

hi,

since yesterday my echo plugin can no longer find any pimatic devices. I deleted all devices in alexa online, pressed “Discover Devices” in pimatic and looked for Alexa again, but nothing was found! Has anything happened with the Alexas? Echo plugin version is 0.5.4:

Are you using port 80 for the plugin? This has been changed by the last update of Amazon. Then it should work without problems.

thanks for your suggestion, I changed the config into:

but it did not help either.

@michbeck100 nope, i have everything on default and i deleted all my devices and found 25 after it but not my two new one.

After I had to rebuild my complete pimatic setup a few days ago, it doesn’t dicover the emulated “Philips Hue lights” any more (f.e. class “Dummy Switch”).
I’m using an “echo DOT (Gen II)” for discovery, my pimatic-config runs on port 80 and also the echo plugin (v 0.5.9) is configured on port 80. I am NOT using a hue bridge!

When I delete the echo-database file and delete all echo devices within Alexa Web Interface (https://alexa.amazon.de/ => Smart home => devices), and rediscover …, it just discoveres my native echo devices (f.e. echo DOT itself, Yamaha Hifi devices) - but nut the hue lighs, whitch pimatic should emulate.

Should it currently be possilbe to discover the “hue lights” provided/emulated by pimatic?
Are there and dependencies to basic pimatic modules or prerequisites needed?
Any other ideas?

@helene-fischer nice to see you here on the forum 😜. Unfortunately it seems that this happens from time to time. Since I didn’t change anything on the pimatic-echo plugin, the reason could be a change on the Amazon side. But as long as this happens to single users, I can’t really do anything. I had the problem a while ago, too. And after some time it just worked again. I can’t really tell why. Sorry. Resetting the echo-database and deleting every Alexa device one by one and then starting the device search again seems to be the only solution.
