[Solved] What is the best way to purge config file for Echo?

Hey all.

I have had echo plugin installed, but I haven’t really used it for a while.

Today I needed to use the port for the deconz setup, so I had to remove the echo plugin, but it didn’t remove all the echo text in my config file.

Now it is given a hundred errors on boot of the system.

I have tried manually deleting all echo things, but I must to it wrong as I broke the config file and had to restore it for pimatic to boot.

How do I get rid of this echo stuff?

hi,
install jq if not already done
sudo apt-get install jq

then remove all echo keys from devices:
cat config.json | jq 'del(.devices[].echo)' > new_config.json
