Anyone got an idea how to trigger Alexa routines from Pimatic?

Hello everyone.

I got a quick question.

Does anyone know how we can trigger Alexa routines from Pimatic? I tried creating some fake hue lights, which does not work. I believe it needs to be a contact sensor or something similar and not a light, to be able to trigger a Alexa routine.

I’m trying to make a party button, which triggers my lights, blinds etc in Pimatic and triggers Alexa to say a sentence and start playing a Spotify playlist.

I can trigger Alexa tts already, so I am just missing the Spotify playlist trigger on Alexa, to have the music start playing, which I would be able to do with Alexa routines. But I have no way of triggering Alexa routines atm.

What are your thoughts?

I figured it out myself.

I made a virtual switch and virtual contact sensor with Smart things with webcore for smart things. Which can be used to trigger Alexa routines.
So the data goes like this.

Pimatic -> IFTTT -> SmartThings -> Webcore -> SmartThings -> Alexa

Works flawlessly and the delay is about half a second which isn’t that bad.

Now I’m able to make my party button.
