after 3 hours absent active the rule
Hello Community,
I’m desperate of a rule right now. It sounds so simple and yet I can’t get it right.
When the motion detector is off for 3 hours.
And this now becomes present. Should something happen. But only if really 3h before have passed.
Who has an idea without a help variable?
It´s not possible.
Because the motion detector can´t be on and off at the same time…
You need a second rule and a variable
@slimmy like @Michael-Rudek said, it cant be on and off at the same time, because you are present, or you are not.
However, you could connect the sensor to a power socket or sonoff, and enable/disable that after 3 hours.
Only other method is indeed a variable.
