First: I’m not quite sure, if this is the right place to post, but I would like to share the following experiences with maybe others having similiar fights (so admins please re-arrange if wrong here )
As a last step in my ground-installation I installed the Nano and the HF components into a smart little plastic box.
After doing so, I suddenly wasn’t able any longer to receive all signals of my thermometers, which let me run around with the PI in our house to find a better place to catch again all signals. I also re-arranged one of the thermometers outside in the rain this evening. But depending where I arranged all the parts, the one or the others signals couldn’t be received
Then after thinking again about what I changed, I took my spare receiver and arranged him, with some longer cables, again outside the box, a bit more far away from the other components, similar as before during the test-phase. … and it directly works as before tested, sitting in the cellar and receiving without any problems all thermometers.
As I would like to stay however in the small box, I’m thinking about a shield around the other components to protect the receiver from whatever interferences of the Nano and the transmitter.
Has someone made similar experiences? - and maybe post his respective solution?
