Maybe this question has been asked before, but the search function is broken and my Google researches did not find an answer. How can I change the state of a DummySwitch (or the variable xxxxx.state)?
I can successfully turn my TV on and off via pimatic (and Alexa thanks to pimatic-echo). But when someone from my family uses the old-fashioned remote control to turn on/off the TV, the status of the DummySwitch is not updated. The actual state of the TV (absence/presence) could be taken from pimatic-ping-presence, but how can I use ping-presence to update the state of my DummySwitch?
