kaku AMST-606 problems

Hi everyone.

Couple of weeks ago i installed a milight controller in my Ikea Pax closet. I installed today 2 AMST-606 Contact Sensors. Set some rulles and all worked perfect.

However as soon i install the AMST-606 on the aluminum strip of my closet it does not work anymore. Is this normal? i did not thought aluminum could influence the magnetic field of a sensor.

@duongtn34 it can influence it. There is a video on youtube that when he moves a aluminum can next to a magnet it started to move, while it shouldnt. Maybe put a small wooden block on the contacts if you cant get around the aluminum strip.
