Prevent one predicate of triggering a rule

Hi everyone,

I have one request and I couldnt find a suitable answer so far:
I want to have a rule, that is only triggered by ONE predicate, not the others in case they change

For example (not real syntax & might not make sense):
WHEN device1 is present AND it is after 6 p.m. AND state of weather is "cloudy"

I want to trigger the rule ONLY when it is after 6 on a cloudy day and the device "comes home"
I don’t want to trigger the rule when the device is already present and just the time reaches 6 p.m. or the weather changes to “cloudy”

I tried to solve it by adding “and weather was not updated for 1 hour” but then the rule triggers as well as soon as the weather didnt change for one hour…

Is there any solution to handle this?

try something like this:

if [it is after 6 p.m. AND state of weather is “cloudy”] and trigger:device1 is present

@saxnpaule Thanks a lot for the quick reply and the perfect solution to my problem.
Hopefully there will be a checkbox in GUI mode in the future, thats how i learn my syntax
