Can't ping android device somtimes

I just discovered that I can’t ping an adroid phone on some times anymore.
i have tested bij checking the ip adres ont the phone and als be active on the internet with it (on wifi).
And even when I am active ont the internet I can’t ping the device.

But on other times I can…

Pinging doesn’t work on the Raspberry but also not from my Router.

Anyone an idea?

Yes, it’s because of the deep sleep of your phones wifi.

Or does this also happen when you activly use your phone?

As I described, also when I am active on the internet (on Wifi) is the phone still not pingeble.
The ip adres on the phone is checked and right.

Also try it with the charger attached, when the phone is charged the wifi reacts different sometimes.

I switched from ping to Owntracks, far more stable.
