@kosta nice. works very well. maybe you should add a function to apply a offset to the temperature value. My sensors have really big differences. In the same room two sensors have a diffenrence of 7°C (26°C-33°C)

New Plugin - [pimatic-raspbee]
-
the two following screenshots show the same group - one in pimatic and one in the phsocon app. the brightness slider is in both screenshots set to 100%, but raspbee shows it in the darker area and phoscon in the lighter area. maybe you could turn around the slider?
and i think the colour chooser does not have to bee visible, when the group has no colour attribute. -
@quotschmacher
i’ve never noticed that before. but i can change the gradient.a group can also contain RGB bulbs,
so I created the group with full color selector.
the easiest way will be to add an option to disable the selector. -
Since the last update I get very frequently errors, like:
rror [pimatic-raspbee]: websocket keep alive error, try to reconnect 22:55:35error [pimatic-raspbee]: Error: ETIMEDOUT 22:55:35error [pimatic-raspbee]: Connection could not be establised 22:55:20error [pimatic-raspbee]: websocket keep alive error, try to reconnect 22:45:35error [pimatic-raspbee]: Error: ETIMEDOUT 22:45:35error [pimatic-raspbee]: Connection could not be establised 22:45:20error [pimatic-raspbee]: websocket keep alive error, try to reconnect 21:48:19error [pimatic-raspbee]: websocket keep alive error, try to reconnect 21:48:16error [pimatic]: gateway not online 21:48:16error [pimatic-raspbee]: gateway not online 21:48:16error [pimatic-raspbee]: Error: ESOCKETTIMEDOUT 21:48:16error [pimatic-raspbee]: Connection could not be establised 21:47:50error [pimatic-raspbee]: Error: ETIMEDOUT 21:47:50error [pimatic-raspbee]: Connection could not be establised

I have to restart pimatic to get everything working again. This did not happen with the former version of pimatic-raspbee. What is the cause and what is the solution?
-
@jee67 that’s strange. i didn’t change the connection module in the update.
seems that the connection to deconz api is not stable.- does the problem occur often?
- can the problem only be solved by a pimatic restart or is the connection running later by itself?
- deconz and pimatic run on the same server?
- Have you also restarted deconz once?
“gateway not online” comes when an action is started but the deconz-api is disconnected.
the plugin “ping” every 30s the deconz websocket connection,
if it does not receive a response, a reconnection is initiated.this sequence means that the keep alive test failed and the reconnect does not work either.

@kosta
I restarted the gateway and had to restart Pimatic because of the errors31error [pimatic-raspbee]: Error: ESOCKETTIMEDOUT 23:24:31error [pimatic-raspbee]: Connection could not be establised 23:24:30error [pimatic-knmi-weather]: [Plugin] Error: Error: No response from server (timeout) 23:24:30error [pimatic-knmi-weather]: [Plugin] Error: No response from server (timeout) 23:24:30error [pimatic-raspbee]: websocket keep alive error, try to reconnect 23:22:16error [pimatic-raspbee]: websocket closed 23:22:11error [pimatic]: gateway not online 23:22:11error [pimatic-raspbee]: gateway not online 23:22:09error [pimatic]: gateway not online 23:22:09error [pimatic-raspbee]: gateway not online
It’s quite annoying.

Hello,
in my installation I have no problems. After the update I had to generate a new APIkey and search XIAOMI motion detectors and switches again. Now it works since 2 days without any problems.
Thanks Kosta.

that’s hard to analyze. Strangely enough, in your last error message, the weather plugin also had a connection problem at the same time. A new key would be a try. Maybe a reinstallation of the plugin will help.
-
No more errors. I restarted both raspberries. Firstly the one with the Deconz gateway and next the one with Pimatic. Since then no more errors occur. Both system running for four days now. So, restarting both seem to be the solution.
-
Hey Kosta,
I am using your new RasBeeRGBDummy device. What I noticed is that the color picker gets always reset to default after I refresh or reopen the UI.
The variable itself are still on the last selected value.
-
I will check it

Are we able to control the new ikea blinds with this controller and plugin? I believe they are called Fyrtur.
-
I also find these blinds very interesting. Unfortunately, there will only be up to a maximum of 1.40m. I need 1,90m 😥

@simonbove
Yes, the blinds are supported.
Deconz api has already integrated them.
There will also be an update for the new remote soon.see here -> https://github.com/dresden-elektronik/deconz-rest-plugin/issues/1121#
I will make only a few adjustments to the raspbee plugin for the GUI and that the devices are recognized.
you asked the same question about the tradfri plugin.
no matter if you don’t have a raspbee dongle or a tradfri gateway.
i would definitely recommend the raspbee plugin.the deconz api has already decisive advantages with the tradfri system and
can of course control all zigbee systems. the tradfri gateway offers no possibility to integrate the remote controls and motion sensors into pimatic.i have created a github bug for tracking
https://github.com/treban/pimatic-raspbee/issues/38 -
Hello Kosta.
Thank you very much for your response.
Yes I asked in both threads as I don’t have either systems yet and would buy the one that worked with the blinds.
Sounds like I should go with the raspee stick.
Thank you very much for the help.
-
for a new purchase the raspbee/conbee is recommended.
you can use these to control (almost) all zigbee systems.
-> supported devicesa firmware update of the tradfri bulbs is more cumbersome, but possible.

Update: whenever network connection is lost, Pimatic cannot find the gateway after the network is up again. Since I have some ads, issues, I have to restart the modem frequently. I have to restart Pimatic first and then the connection with the deck a gateway is established again. Is there anyway to connect to the gateway, without the necessary restart of Pimatic?

For now I automated the restart of Pimatic after a lost connection with Deconz, but it would be nicer if the connection is re-established automatically by Pimatic after a disconnect.
