24/7 Powersupply

hey guys, maybe someone of you can help me in find the right dimension of my powersupply…

i’m going to 3d print a housing for my pimatic setup which i can mount on the wall.
so all the parts should be in there, and it would be nice if i only have to use 1 power input.

the things that have to be powered are the raspberry itself, 2 arduino nanos (one of them with the 433mhz transceiver and the other with a nrf24) and a few sensors (pir/lux/dht)

Maybe i have to cool that housing, so there should be enough power to run a little fan.

what are you using for your 24/7 projects?

Pi 1,2 or 3? SDD,HDD?

Pi3 with SD card.

Sorry for the question, but why should I mount a drive???

Because a Harddrive lives much longer than a SD-Card.
Pimatic writes to a database, its not a read only system.
In my system i killed 1 SD-Card per year, now i use a Harddrive from an old Notebook

2,5A should be enough, with some reserves.
If you want to use a Harddrive, 3A would be better.

I use a standard 2A power supply for a Pi3, m.2 SSD, 433MHz re/transceiver and two milight controllers.
