Auto sync renamed variables in rules
Sometimes I use a device on another place after some time, socket switch for example.
In that case I need to rename them whats no problem in the device side, but fails in all rules already using these clear names.
Then the rules switch off and need to be edited manually.
Isn’t it possible to rename these device also in the rules texts?
Why do you use the display name in rules?
Always use the id to avoid such issues.
If you don’t want to use ids, make a search and replace in the config file.
Rather than using device names as part of rules my suggestion is to use device ids instead.
