I use it also. Will try to roll back.

problem with /api/devices

I didn’t roll back, but i deleted this line https://github.com/michbeck100/pimatic-echo/commit/c4100ca190e1f27fca4388f787b1335960e7caa5
and it works now. So this is definitely the problem. -
Who will fix the echo plugin?
I dont like to change code by myself. Thats not really a longterm solution. -
@michbeck100
Could you please have a look -

You can downgrade (see my earlier post). Another workaround is to setup a separate endpoint for the hue emulation server by configuring a different port. This way the plugin will start a separate web server for the hue emulation. https://github.com/michbeck100/pimatic-echo/blob/master/echo-config-schema.coffee#L16-L19

@mwittig Thanks for pointing that out! As for now only the echo dot is supported, there is actually currently no point in setting the port to 80 anymore.
I should actually remove that feature again.pimatic-hap - pimatic HomeKit bridge
pimatic-echo - Amazon echo integration
pimatic-dash-button - Amazon dash button support
pimatic-alarm - pimatic alarm system

I did merge https://github.com/michbeck100/pimatic-echo/pull/57 which removes this line BUT I’m pretty sure that the initial search for devices will fail, if you are using port 80, as the echo won’t be able to create a new user. I can’t prove this right now, but i will remove the code for compatibility on port 80 completely. In the next version of pimatic-echo the default port will be 9876 again. If you still try to share port 80 you will get an error message, that this port is not available. This makes the code easier again.

And this might also require to run the device search on alexa again. Sorry for that!

Just updated the code: https://github.com/michbeck100/pimatic-echo/commit/9ab7fd04354655af9a1be45b9fe9d21eef5f8e1d
Everyone who had this problem, please try the version from github. Remember that you might have to run the device search again, if Alexa doesn’t find your devices anymore after the update.
