I’d really like to combine multiple boolean variables (switch states, dummy switches, presences etc.) into one line in the frontend.
So I propose the “Binary device”. It’s configured the same way as a Variables device, with the possibility to display the variable as a switch or button (you can interact with it), or as a presence dot (just displaying the state).
I know the integration of a higher Node has top priority now, but I think this can declutter a lot of users’ interfaces.
