Homeduino Nano Problems

Hey Guys,
having trouble with an arduino nano device on debian, running an orange pi zero.
the device is connected to usb 6-1

so now i have the problem that i don’t know how to setup the plugin since my /dev looks like that :

when i use /dev/usbdev6.1 at the plugin settings, homeduino is not working.
unfortunately there’s no serial folder to use serial by path or device option …

anybody an idea?

@leader21 try this:

create a udev file

/etc/udev/rules.d/42-usb.rules

with content:

 SUBSYSTEMS=="usb", KERNELS=="6-1:1.0", SYMLINK+="homeduino"

and reboot

you should have a “/dev/homeduino” device now

thx for your reply! does not seem to work. there is no homeduino device in /dev unfotunately. i used your above code and created the file, but nothing appears

that’s a pity.

what shows?

 sudo udevadm trigger --verbose | grep usb

It’s a driver problem.
Check

 modinfo ch341

Also if the module is loaded.

 lsmod | grep ch341

Maybe a newer kernel is the solution.

i think you are right! trying armbian with the newest kernel now.

the drivers seem to be ok now!
