Hi,
i also found the “date-holidays” package and i also wanted to have the “holiday” information in my pimatic installation. So i thought i’ll give it a try and wrote my first pimatic-plugin providing a device that has a variable that is true if the actual date is a holiday.

It’s still in an early state but works so far…
I’d be happy if someone else finds it useful too.

@thex-at Thanks for the plugin. Would be nice if you could publish this to npm, so that other users can install it using the pimatic-mobile-frontend.

@thost96 Thanks for the hint. I tried and so far it worked so i can install it via “npm install pimatic-holidays”.

If i do it that way the installation is fine and it works. But if i look at the file structure all dependencies get installed into the root of my plugin instead of a subdirectory node_modules. I would like to keep the structure clean…

If i do a “git clone” and then a “npm install” in the cloned directory the dependencies get installed in a subdirectory like in other plugins.

I tried to find differences to other plugins in package.json but cannot find any… Am i missing something?

@thex-at I installed the plugin using the pimatic mobile frontend and a node_modules folder is created successfully. Maybe try again or try a clean environment
