pushover token

i installed pushover plugin and configured config.json:

    {
      "plugin": "pushover",
      "user": "x",
      "token": "x"
    },
    {

(x = data)
but it doesnt work:
error [pimatic-pushover]: pushover error: application token is invalid

i tested the token via email-api from pushover an it works. there is no mistake in the token (copy+paste).

any ideas?

@dk00000 Did you set up your account on the pushover website? https://pushover.net/

you have to add your device witch is the “user”: key
and you have to add an application witch is the “token”: key

This is how i set up my application on the pushover website:

Name: Pimatic
Type: plugin
Description: "anything you like"
URL: external ip:poort of pimatic

Also don’t forget the license.

It was not clear to me that user is the “user key” and token is the “application key” which i had to configure at pushover website!
Now it works!

@Sjeff One question regarding the URL. I guess the URL as part of the application is not used as filter for incoming pushover notification, right? So, this way I think there no-need to provide the external IP and port of pimatic, but can provided any URL you like. I have entered the URL of the pimatic-pushover plugin, for example.

@dk00000 Just a hint: As part of the Pushover Application you can also select an application icon. I have used the pimatic icon which you can download from pimatic-artwork or your local pimatic installation.

@mwittig thats correct you can leave it blank if you want.

i also have the pimatic icon just to make look nice in the pushover app
